At Neotex, we’re all about making a positive impact through sustainable textile recycling. Our main focus is on reusing textiles and recycling them responsibly to minimize waste and reduce our environmental footprint. In Denmark alone, over 30,000 tons of textile waste are generated every year, yet only a fraction of that is recycled. By increasing the rate of recycling, we aim to tackle this growing problem head-on.
Our team is passionate about the work we do. We carefully sort through textiles, with around 60% of the items we handle being reusable. The remaining materials are then processed for recycling, ensuring that we get as much as possible back into production. This is part of our mission to reduce the amount of textile waste that ends up in landfills. By reintroducing used textiles into the manufacturing process, we are able to conserve vital resources, including water and virgin materials. For example, recycling one ton of textiles saves approximately 7,000 liters of water and reduces the demand for new raw materials by 30%.

We’re proud to be part of a circular economy, where the focus is on recycling and reusing rather than just discarding. By participating in this model, we help reduce the need for new materials and the energy costs associated with their production. Globally, the textile industry accounts for around 10% of carbon emissions, but by recycling and reusing textiles, we can significantly reduce this figure.
But our commitment to sustainability doesn’t stop at recycling. Transparency is key to everything we do. We believe it’s important that our partners and stakeholders trust us, so we’ve set up clear processes to track and document every step of the way—from the moment textiles are collected until they’re repurposed into new products. We use an advanced tracking system that logs each item, ensuring we know its origin and journey through the recycling process. This allows us to confidently demonstrate that we’re following ethical and responsible practices at all times.
We take this responsibility seriously, not only because it’s the right thing to do but also because we know how crucial it is for building long-term, trustworthy relationships with everyone we work with. By sticking to our principles of sustainability, transparency, and responsible recycling, we aim to keep making a difference in the textile industry.
